DRIVER LIED BROKER WON'T HELP

We had a very nice 64 Impala picked up from a Classic dealership in Oregon.
The car was damaged in transit ($1,192.00 worth of damage). The driver altered the bill of lading - FRAUD - and neither the driver or trucking company will accept any responsibility. We use transport brokers so we don't have to deal with these situations, but Mike has said he can't do anything!!?? We're in the same situation we'd be in if we hired these guys directly. We use brokers who know the business and know the companies. I respect the brokers who stand up and take responsibility for their bad chioce of contractors. Now we're out $1592.00 on a $400 pickup to keep our customer happy. I wish Mike felt this same sense of reponsibility toward us, his previous long time customers.
