I found Discount Auto and Truck Transporters from a Google search and telephoned them. Steve spent time answering all my questions on the phone. (This was my first time shipping a vehicle, so I had many questions.) Friends recommended other companies, and I called them as well for comparison quotations. Steve's price was the lowest. I really appreciate that he picked up the phone every time I called (no voicemail menus to navigate). His answers to questions were clear and succinct. His website also has many useful recommendations (e.g., warnings about less scrupulous operators). The transport process unfolded exactly as Steve described. The bottom line is that my beautiful pickup truck made it safely across the country. I would definitely use Discount Auto and Truck Transporters for future car-shipping needs.
