i was trying to get a jeep from oregon to illinois asap to use for work. I could have gone with about 10 other companies but they told me they could pick up that sat. and have it delivered no later than the following thurs. Finally Monday (3 days later) they picked it up and then told me i would have it by Sat. Already I would have picked someone else had i known this. They called back and then told me it would be Sun. then Mon afternoon. Monday night they called and said Tues. Morning. Yippee! I finally got it after missing out on at least 3 days of work that i needed this vehicle for. Then I was told i needed a money order which i was not aware of so i had to wait for the banks to open. Then when i handed them the money order i was told to make it out to someone i had never heard of. (another trucking company) Luckily that co. agreed after all my trouble to accept it anyway. Absolutely NO COMMUNICATION between the trucking co they hired to bring my jeep to me. And the driver barely spoke english! I would never recommend this co to anyone. They were also going to try to get me partial reimbursement for the work i missed and the trouble i put up with but obviously that was a lie too. My sister and her husband do this for a living but unfortunately they were out east for 2 weeks or i would have hired them and would have got it on time. I can understand a day or 2 late but dont tell me what i want to hear just to get my business.
