After notifying this firm of the pick up date, 12 days later, they had no idea when the vehicle was going to be picked up. I called every 2 days after a week. I was told that there are too many cars to be picked up in Florida and mine is going to be late. Truth of the matter was that they were giving drivers such a low amount that my car was low on the list for drivers to pick up. After doing some investigation, I found that all these firms are expediters and they post this job on a board that truck divers pick up when they think they can get the car. If the price is ridiculously low, the car sits there.

I ended up contacting a trucking firm directly and had the car picked up the same day for $75 less. After explaining to Direct that this was getting ridiculous and that they originally told us within a week from when we were ready to have it picked up, the car would be on its way, they did nothing but give lame excuses!

I would use them again ever.

And no I'm not being compensated by Direct to write this review!!!

Our outstanding record speaks for itself. Carl is correct in that there are now thousands of snowbird vehicles leaving Florida and heading north. But his math is incorrect on two counts. He made his vehicle available 5/5 and canceled 5/14, which is nine days not twelve. And if he somehow shipped it for $75 less, our price was obviously not too low. His vehicle was a tad more problematic because he was shipping to Rochester, NY at the end of the distribution line, which was explained to him. We wish Carl well in all his future endeavors.
