Having spoken with some less than reputable companies; we opted to select Direct Express Auto Transport for cross-country transportation, with a great deal of trepidation because of all the horror stories we'd heard about the transport business. We shipped our car from Connecticut to California in November. To our enormous relief, Direct Express was professional, prompt, had excellent follow-through, delivered our vehicle clean and unscathed (we opted for an eclosed carrier) via a great transporter (Exotic Carriers). We even asked for proof of transporter insurance prior to pick-up and Direct Express delivered it within an hour. The entire experience was nearly effortless on our part and the price was very competitive - even lower than some transport companies. Everyone we spoke with from the Direct Express staff to the transporter drivers were very friendly and courteous. Our auto arrived on the morning, as scheduled, 15 minutes early! We are extremely pleased with the Direct Express experience, would use it again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone else seeking this service. Thank you Direct Express!
