This was my first experience buying a car (Cadillac CTS) on line and having it shipped to my residence. After much due diligence, I concluded Direct Express would hopefully be my best option. For once, I was right! This is a no nonsense, no gimmicks, straightforward company, that, from my experience, I would definately recommend. From the down payment to delivery (600 miles), I had my car within just over 3 days. I was still getting calls from other companies, when the car was already on the road. The contract driver was easy going and communicative. The pickup, from a private seller, went without a hitch and the car was delivered to my garage door in good condition. I was somewhat leary, but Direct Express means it when they promote their "door to door" service! The price to ship ($400), without add ons and compensation for reviews, was neither the lowest nor highest, but right in the ball park and very competitive. Check out the other 5 star shippers, then take a look at Direct Express; I think you will draw the same conclusion as I did.
