Autodog Transpotation actually did the shipping. The driver was very nice. He picked up my car at 7:40 Am on Saturday. He told me that he would take good care of my car. He expected to deliver my car to Boston on June 18th (5 days). The total price was $675. This was a very good deal. other companies quoted me from $750 to $1100. The online company- Direct Express Auto charged $150 from my credit card. The driver give me a bill of lading with the remaining balance of $525 (need to be a casher's check or money order due at delivery). On the bill of lading, the driver also recorded the car's pre-existing conditions, some scratches on the rear bumper of my car. I signed the bill of lading and we both had a copy of it. The driver also said that I can put stuff in the car to be shipped together. He said that a few hundred pounds doesn't make any difference in his gas milage. We put two suit cases in the car. Around the time of delivery, we kept
pretty frequent communications with the driver (his cell phone). Initially we thought around 6:00pm might be a good time since we have to work before that time. We finally realized that the traffic would be very bad around that time. We told the driver and let him decide what time was good for him. He chosed 4:00 pm. It worked almost perfect except the weather was not cooperative. It was raining hard. The overall service was very good. Both Direct Express Auto and Autodog transport are highly recommended for auto shipping work. Thanks.
