I called on a Saturday for a NY/Los Angeles car ship and was helped by two different gals who were both terrific. My son''s car was ready to ship, so they said they would start trying to find a carrier immediately. They arranged a Monday pickup, and then the owner/driver called on Sunday and asked if he could pick up late that afternoon, which was great. He was very pleasant and thoroughly examined the car for bill of lading. He handled this very temperamental modified car easily. When I called him on Thursday, he anticipated a Monday dropoff, which was later than his original Saturday estimate. However, since we were willing to travel a bit to get the car sooner, driver agreed to a Saturday morning dropoff about 50 miles short of the planned dropoff, west of the Los Angeles traffic, which worked for everyone. Communication was great and price was great at $850 total. Car was really dirty and sandy from the desert, but I guess that was expected using an open car carrier across the southwest. Would definitely use DirectExpress to broker my transport again!
