I was pleasantly surprised with the overall process to transport my car from Bellevue, WA to Santa Fe, NM. I was advised that there weren't any other cars within a hundred miles scheduled to be picked up. I chose to go with the $1095 rate and within a day or two got confirmation of an available transport. I was shooting for a weekend pickup as we were planning on leaving on Sunday afternoon. The transporter's office coordinator actually called and asked if it could be picked up Friday afternoon. I told her yes but we couldn't't make it to Santa Fe before Wednesday for delivery. The car was actually in Santa Fe on Tuesday evening and we were able to meet him mid-morning on Wednesday for the handoff. The car started off dirty and got there somewhat dirtier but no worse than I expected. The hood ornament had blown off but the car is 20 years old and I've already secured a replacement. All in all I was pleased with the service of both Direct Auto Transport and the company that delivered the car. Communication was good at both ends and along the way.
