I have shipped vehicles I bought online before, usually the seller's recomended shipper (they were dealers). This time I bought a vehicle off an individual. I searched for some transport companies and found AutoTransportDirect to be the best site to get a very quick quote and had a good price. I called them and they seemed easy to work with. Once I bought the car I did everything online (scheduled pick up, payment, etc.). The pickup was done on-time, the same day the car was made available. I did not get a call before pickup like the site said I would, but the owner (or ex-owner) of the car did get a call and they set it all up through him so I did not have aproblem with it. The shipper picked up the car in a very strong rain storm, drove through various storms on the way to Michigan, including a blizzard in Ohio that had him stuck there in the state for a day. The driver called me on Sunday and said he might be able to deliver a day early, but late that night. I agreed. The car arrived dirty since it had been through a few storms, but no damage. The driver was friendly and knowledgeable, and most importantly, very carefull with my car. I am very pleased with the service and price of AutoTransportDirect.com and will use them again if they contimnue to offer competetive prices. Thanks!
