I got quotes from more than 40 sources and the range was from $600 to $1200. I checked out the low bidders and they all had horrible reviews. Direct Express Auto Transporter quoted me $725 and it was the fourth lowest quote form of all. Order was place on Thursday 1/17 and pick up was made on Friday the next week. One day later than the 7 days window as promised. No big deal. Delivery was assigned to Darrell Allen Trucking. On Tuesday 1/29, they called and let me know it was going to arrive that same day between 5-6pm. I waited till 7:30pm and nobody showed up and I called them. The operator told me it was going to be delayed (due to traffic) till the next morning and the driver called back at 8pm to confirm that. I consider that to be very good response time. The car was delivered the next morning. The driver was courteous and there was no damage during transportation. However my car has light interior and there were grease stains on the driver seat and surrounding areas. I was able to clean them. It was very good overall but not perfect. Just by reading the reviews on this site, I doubt that other more expensive carriers could be that much better. I recommend this company. I definitely will use them again. They have the best price/service ratio from what I can gather.
