Marc the Direct Connect dispatcher seemed quite professional of all the companies I interviewed. But in reality the company was a complete “bait & switch” experience for us. I was initially tol there was a truck headed to Bangor, Maine, in 2 days he would unload & pick up my car. When that day arrived & I hadn’t heard anything I called & was told that truck cancelled & they couldn’t find a truck to come to Bangor could I get my car to Portland? This I did with difficulty because I was already on the west coast.
My car arrived in good shape 16 days after it’s original pick up date in Santa Barbara whet it was originally scheduled to go to.
However in between they said they couldn’t get it to Santa Barbara could I go to LA to pick it up. I initially said yes because I was so desperate but then got very sick. So they finally figured out that the driver who picked my car up in Springfield, MA could deliver it to Santa Barbara.
This is the most unreliable company I have ever worked with in my life plus all the communications were 95% because I called them.
