I contacted Dependable Auto Transport and contracted with them because they said they use their own vehicles. I paid more because of this fact. The company brokered without my knowledge to a company according to Lloyds of London. excludes classic cars and are failing to pay my claim. The vehicle was burned and totaled while in transit. DCA refuses to give me their ins info or bonding company so I can pursue a claim against them. You should go to Yelp for more stories and look up their company. I am out a classic VW Restored totaled and burned and no valid insurance company or responsible party . I have asked to speak to the owner to no avail,and left messages no return calls. The story is not over but as it stands now Dependable Auto Transport took the liberty without my knowledge and sublet my vehicle to a company with no adequate insurance to transport my vehicle and 3 month later no settlement has been made and only the fact is I still have no status to the claim. No settlement has been offered due to the fact that the sub let company had an endorsement on their cargo policy MSC18 which excludes Antique Auto. Dependable Auto Shippers was the one who took the fee to deliver my vehicle and was paid in full in advance is in my opinion directly responsible for subletting this to a company without verifying they had proper coverage. I will leave you with a question. Would you trust your classic vehicle to a company that lies and tells you they transport with their own vehicles and then sublets to low unqualified under insured carrier? I was quoted 700.00 from a broker and paid them 1200.00 because of their lie. I will read all reviews in the future and ask for proof of insurance and references.
