We have had our cars moved several times in the past. Never have we've experienced such poor customer service from an auto company. I called Direct Connections back in March to set up transporting our 2001 Lexus and 1969 Camaro from San Antonio to Dallas Texas. We were moving so we wanted them picked up on May 14th and delivered on May 16th. Mark Richards gave me a quote of $850 for an enclosed truck which was what we wanted. He told to call back on the Friday before the pick up on the 14th which I did. He confirmed that the pick up would be on the 14th and delivery would be on the 16th. A representative from the driving company (Agnes) called and said the driver (Wesley) would pick up on the 14th (Tues) at 9am. HE WAS A NO SHOW! So, I called Mark. He said the driver wouldn't be able to pick up until Thursday. Gave many excuses and I told him it had to picked up on Tues. He basically told me to find another company as there was anything he could do and lead me to believe that I could get a refund. So, I did I found another company. When I called Mark to cancel, he was down right nasty and extremely rude and stated I would loose my money even after he told me to find another company!!! To avoid losing $850, I spoke with Agnes (broker for the transport co.) directly and she told me our cars would be picked up on Wednesday night 15th. AGAIN, DRIVER WAS A NO SHOW. Was told he had a flat and would be there Thursday morning at 9am. AGAIN, DRIVER WAS A NO SHOW. I called the driver (Wesley) directly after many attempts, he said he would pick up our cars at 3:30, he finally pick them up at 8:30 pm from our home that we didn't even own anymore and our neighbor said the driver didn't even look over the cars and loaded and took off. I called the driver and he said he would deliver them on Fri. at 3pm. He finally arrived at 8:30pm. He handed the keys to us and didn't even ask for proof of ownership (which is scary). It was dark so we were not able to see if there was any damage or not. There wasn't thank goodness. However, the leather front seats and mats had grease all over them. Worst experience every! I would not recommend this company! Really Bad Customer Service!
