Since this was my first experience with shipping my car, I approached the selection of the Broker/Carrier with much uncertainty and trepidation. After posting my need on the web, it was only minutes before Paul from Direct Auto Transport called me. After establishing what I wanted to ship and when, he explained the entire process to me, what I should be looking for in a Broker or Carrier and what the difference between the two was. He also explained what the cost structure was, and what the important factors were in establishing the cost. This helped me greatly in doing the rest of my research for all of the quotes that I received. I also contacted the BBB, Transport Reviews and Transport Rankings, looking for recommendations from past users of the service, BBB ratings, and how long the companies were in business. After all was said and done, I selected Direct Auto Transport as my broker, selecting their priority shipping level. I notified Paul on August 10th, and a contract was submitted to me for signature the same day via email. I returned the signed contract the same day via email. Paul contacted me on the 11th giving me the name of the carrier and driver, Jose from 1 Step Ahead Auto Transport. The car was picked up the morning of the 14th and it was delivered in the late afternoon of the 15th. Everything went very smoothly, no hassle. I was extremely pleased with Direct Auto Transport and I would definitely use their services again. I would also recommend them to others. My rating for them is 5 star!
