DAS Global - Unreliable and Poor Service

We had an SUV shipped via DAS Global Services because they promised a delivery window of 3 weeks (the reason for the long delivery window is the distance - east coast to AK). In fact, they were optimistic that they may even deliver by 2 weeks! Well, by 2 weeks, the SUV has made all the way from NC to Illinois. There is no explanation and no empathy from customer service as to how to address this dilemma. To make matters worse, their best guess at this point is now 6 weeks (twice as long as promised). All this for the bargain price of $3500. I really wish I had found this site before we opted to go with this carrier. This is the first review of DAS - but I would have surely considered other positive reviews on this site. I would DEFINTELY stay away from DAS.
