Avoid DAS at all cost!!!

This is actually my 2nd nightmare with DAS. I used them 6 years ago transporting my brand new Lexus ES 350 from NJ to CA, they totally ruined my car by dripping some kind of chemical substance all over my car which appeared to be bird poops at the time of delivery. I didn't know what they were at the time of receiving the car so I did not mark these as "damages", and I was told specifically by the trunk driver that these were just poops from the birds, and that they didn't have time to wash my car. When I went to wash my car later on, only then I was told that these were paint damages. I filed a claim to DAS, they denied responsibilities because I did not mark them on the bill of landing. I ended up spending over $5000 repainting the entire car, and the painted color could never ever look like the original manufactured paint.
6 years later, I was moving back from CA to NJ. I didn't choose DAS but my company did since they were paying for the car shipping. Funny thing, to my expectation, the car arrived being damaged again, this time I was very vigilant about taking pictures and examining the car in details. My spoiler had gauges left and right, the whole spoiler seemed to be coming off. I marked this on my Bill of Landing.
The claim process however, has been excruciating!!! Yes this time they could not deny their responsibility for the damage, but they had to have their own inspector to come out and check my car. Apparently there is only ONE inspector they have in the entire state of NJ, and this inspector has really odd hours of operation and does not ever pick up his phone. I tried scheduling a time with him at a mutually convenient time but this inspector can only do 8am in the morning on a specific day at a specific location. Then he said he only works from 8am - 12pm each day, I asked for 11am appointment, he said I'd have to leave my car at his shop by 8am regardless.
It ended up that I took a day off and got my car there at 8am, there was no one there, I basically ended up waiting the entire day for him to show up. He finally showed up at 1pm. Of course his estimation of my damage is far less than the estimate I got from another body shop. ($3000 less!!!)
It's been 5 months now, I still have not gotten my check for the damage reimbursement. My one and only claim adjuster just went on an "extended leave" without any return dates, and she did not leave any phone number or contact names as her backup. Every time I call her direct phone #, it always goes to the voicemail, every single time!!! Her "supervisor" named "Michael" whom I have asked for in the past never ever replied to my emails and calls when I tried escalating this matter, it seems this "supervisor" is invisible or doesn't exist. My claim is now just left hanging, there is no one I can even follow up with. I don't know what else to do at this point or how else to get my money. I also want to point out that I've spent almost 80 hours on this matter. It has been excruciating and painful!!
I am just amazed at how this company is still in business. I don't know how else to express my frustration (which is an understatement) and anger on this crooked business.
