Reading reviews of several companies here, I believe that many are fake - the top few rated companies here's reviews are likely written by employees of the company. Also, they likely leave poor reviews of competitors like DAS. Friends of mine had suggested Dependable Auto Shippers, but their rating here was less than stellar, so we called Direct Express Auto Transport after seeing the good reviews here. We needed a car transported from VA to CA and the price was reasonable. They promised to pickup the car from 2-7 days. After nearly 3 weeks the car had still not been picked up!! We canceled our order and called DAS - DAS picked up the car in 2 days (just as they had promised) and had the car to us in 7 days - half of the quoted time. DAS was fantastic to work with and the online tracking system is great as well (not updated all that often, but much better than nothing!). Don't believe the 2-star rating, DAS was great to us.
