One week after pick-up, I called Dependable Auto Shippers in Texas to find out when my car would be delivered to Illinois. They said that the transport vehicle had broken down and the car was being returned to Texas to be placed on another truck. After two weeks, I called their storage (pickup point) located in Markham, IL. Both the receptionist and the "yard manager" assured me that my car was not there. I called the office in Texas again and they confirmed that my car was indeed at the Markham yard. I called the Markham office again and told them to talk with the Texas office since my car was likely there in Markham and they just didn't know it. Several hours later the Markham office called me back and said that they would be delivering my car that day (since it was there.) If I had not called both the Texas and MArkham, IL offices, I do not know when my car would have been delivered as they never contacted me.
The car arrived dirty, scratched on the bottom and one tire was damaged. I will not be using DAS again. They seem to have no idea what they are doing and cannot even track the cars properly.

The transportation time was 14 days the same that the contract stated when the move was booked. The unit was picked up on the 26th and delivered on the 9th.
