Not so great en-route experience

I was told because my car was a convertible that it would be stored on the top of the trailer which made me happy. Unfortunately they loaded it on the bottom. The car arrived with damage to the front and rear bumper which I'm guessing was caused from the rubbing/bumping of the other cars it was being transported with.

I was unable to take delivery of the car so I had a friend do me a favor and take delivery. I assured him that the car would be there at 1000pm at the latest as stated by the driver. Unfortunately he didn't arrive until 1230am!! I was embarassed that it was that late and he was woken up at that time to take delivery.

On the plus side, my car was delivered early and only took 4 days to coordinate the delivery.

I was told that they were top notch and had their own trucks but was disappointed with the damage and that they used what I believed to be a contracted trucking company because when i was coordinating the logistics over the phone it was a totally different company name that was there on behalf of DAS.

I'm not sure if i'd use them again.
