I dropped my car off in San Diego, On Dec. 15, and paid $250 extra to have it to Ohio by December 28. It was not picked up in CA until the 2nd of January. I called several times a day to get information about my car and they kept telling me it was on the way. On January 5th, they told me the truck it was on broke down in Indiana, and they were waiting for a new truck to load the cars on. On Jan. 8th, they told me my car was one of 2 stuck on the truck that they were unable to unload, but would get a truck there soon. On January 14th I was told it would be 2 weeks before they get the truck fixed. Today, I got a call that my car was in a wreck. DAS refused to tell me what happened to my car, when it happend, or any info. This means all of the phone conversations for the past few weeks were lies!! And they told me to contact my insurance company and I would have to pay my deductible. They wrecked my car!!! They sent pictures of the back of the trunk smashed in, the whole top of the trunk smashed in, and the sides and bottom all scrapped up? How does this happen from the top of a carrier? Again more lies? I am disgusted and sick over what this company has done to my car. Please do not ever use the company. Pay the little bit more and go with a dependable company. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and am doing the attorney general complaint now, and in the meantime, have no car or any idea of when I will see my car if it is not totaled.
