I had my car transported in late July-early August 2006. Dependable Auto Movers offered me the best quote. They were the most responsive to my phone calls and emails for more information about their company. They allowed up to 100 pounds of personal belongings in the trunk, which I later found was probably not legal so I ended up not taking them up on that offer.

They are a broker that helps find a trucking company to actually transport the car. They found one promptly, called Jordan Auto Transport. I was told Jordan would pick up the car between July 22-26th. They didn't pick it up till July 30th. Because of the later than expected pick up, it got delivered a bit late so that I had to pay for one day of car rental. The driver was very nice and professional. He mentioned that if I didn't go through a broker and went straight through the trucking company, I could save a couple hundred bucks.

One minor complaint is that Dependable stated I could pay the trucking company with a cashiers check however on the day of delivery I found out that Jordan Auto Transport wanted cash only. So we had to make a trip to the bank to exchange the cashiers check for cash which was inconvenient.

Overall, a good experience with Dependable Auto Movers.
