I entered into an agreement with George from Dash to pick up a car in Ohio and transport to Vermont on November 12, 2007. I gave 179.00 deposit via credit card at that time. Which i found unusaully high (typically most transport companies\brokers charge 100.00 and you pay the driver the remainder on delivery.) Another words your deposit is the brokers fee, and the truck gets paid when the job is done. This should have been my key to recognize the scam. George told me they could move for 450, since the broker grabbed 179 of the 450 that leaves 271 for the truck. and guess what they couldn't find a truck for 271.00. Dash was unable to secure transportation through first week of January, I finally woke up and smelled the coffee. I canceled the order and requested a refund. I was told no problem. Three weeks ago, I called again and was told a check woud be issued, I would have it a week from friday. It is now March 13, 2008 and the only conclusion I have is the check is being sent by the same transport company that was picking up the car, lol. This is not a professional transport company, STAY AWAY!!! .

Typically the availability of carriers going into Vermont is relatively slim, which can create delays for anybody traveling into that particular area. We tried to secure a carrier for that route but were unsuccessful. In most cases we have a 95% transport rate with all of our customers. Most other companies are at 90%. We apologized to the customer and refunded his deposit.
