AVOID!! Unethical & Possibly Illegal Practices

CrossRoads Auto Transport kept my "100% Refundeable" payment and never picked up my vehicle. In other words- CROSSROADS STOLE FROM ME, and are refusing to make amends.

Unless you're interested in weeks of hassle only to have your money kept and your vehicle not picked up, I highly suggest you AVOID CROSSROADS AUTO TRANSPORT AT ALL COSTS. Not only have they acted unethically, but I am exploring potential CRIMINAL CHARGES against them for keeping my money without delivering the promised service as well as andomly charging my credit card without my authorization and without notifying me after I tried to cancel.

List of Issues Encountered

1. Customer Service rep Anthony McHugh initially "won" my business among a series of brokers I interviewed because he promised delivery in the next week, said he could do it for a price that was lower than any other broker, and promised that my payment would be 100% refundeable. Upon receipt of my agreement, the next day he told me could have the vehicle picked up if I agreed to pay an additional $75 over the quoted price. I refused, as this was higher than many other brokers, and insisted he deliver the vehicle for the promised price.

2. For 4+ weeks I was told on a regular basis by Anthony McHugh that my vehicle would be picked up the next day. On several occasions, he went as far as to say "I'm walking over to my dispatcher now and will call you back within the hour with the details." Not only did I not receive calls back on any of those instances, but for the next 2-3 days my phone messages and emails went unanswered.

3. After having had enough of the lies and lack of communication, I requested via phone and email that we terminate our agreement, my money be refunded, and the listing be removed from the board. A week later I was informed by another broker that the listing was still valid.

4. During that time I also discovered that my credit card had been charged an additional $25 without any authorization or notification. I am pursuing criminal charges for this action.

5. My credit card company attempted to reverse the charges, but Crossroads disputed it by sending them just the first page of an online agreement, excluding any mention of the fact that the payment was 100% REFUNDABLE.

6. They continue to refuse to refund the refundable payment even thought they never picked up the vehicle during the 4+ weeks I was working with them.

This review is over the top granted we did not perform as needed but we did try to help this person and meet all his needs. Obviously he is angry with us and we are sorry for that.
