Contact was made after recommendation from the Penske Group that Cross Country was used by them to ship cars. Contract was signed on 14 June and a $200 deposit given for pickup on either June 27 or 28. The promised pickup never came to be and numerous contacts to customer service produced no results. I offered to drive the car anywhere in order to facilitate pickup - no luck. I offered to increase fee from $1100 to $1200, and was told that would help. Still nothing, so I finally faxed a cancellation of the order and requested a refund of the deposit. No response. Repeated contact to customer service sdon 7/21, 7/26, 7/28 and 8/2 has resulted in only being passed on as a football and having to leave message.


They are about the worst performing company I have ever dealt with and I will continue to try and obtain my deposit monies back. Meanwhile I had my son fly back from San Francisco and drive the car back.
