After visiting relatives in Santa Barbara, CA, I hired a company to transport my vehicle back to Manhattan where I reside. The company I had originally placed the order with had left me stranded, never picked up my Lexus, and cheated me out of my deposit. After this awful experience, I was referred to Cross Country Auto Transport and told them I needed my car shipped immediately. I contacted them on Wednesday, May 11th, and spoke with a Mr. Ponticelli who was very helpful, professional, and courteous. He took all of my information and assured me that my car would be picked up immediately. Later that evening I was contacted by a driver from Cross Country Auto Transport who asked me what time I would like my vehicle picked up. Sure enough, first thing the following morning, the driver was in my driveway and carefully loaded my vehicle on to his carrier. The transport was underway. To my delight, my car arrived safely in NY the following Thursday in the same condition in which it was shipped. After previously being ripped off, I was very skepitcal about using another transport service. But based on my very positive experience with Cross Country Auto Transport, I would definitely recommend them and would use their service again.
