We are a navy family and move coast to coast often. This was our 9th move in 7 years! The last time I shipped my car was a nightmare. It was supposed to go to SC and ended up in CT! When I contacted Continental for this move I spoke with Brian and he was so pleasant. I informed him of our coastal move and that it was not our first time and he even asked me (without being prompted) if anything had ever happened during the other moves! I told him about my car going to the wrong state and he assured me that his company would take great care of me and my car and he wasn't kidding! It was the best car transport service EVER! The biggest issue was making sure my car got picked up before we left for our cross country drive! I recieved a call the day before it was supposed to be picked up and Rich said that the carrier who was supposed to do my pickup got stuck in Superstorm Sandy and was behind and wouldn't get to my car. He said he had another carrier available but wouldn't be able to pick it up until Monday morning (we were leaving monday afternoon!). Honestly, it was stressful, but they handled everything so professionally and with such kindness that it didn't even bother me! The carrier/driver even picked my car up a day before (on a Sunday) just to make sure we could stay on time for our travels! My overall rating of EXCELLENT is due to Continental"s professionalism, kindness and understanding! I know there was a bump in the road, but after moving nine times you know there always are and the way Continental handled the bump was just so refreshing! I never felt nervous, scared, upset, angry...I just felt comfortable and knew they would handle everything! The car got to CA right ontime. It was in the exact same condition I left it and everything was wonderful! Brian and/or Rich were always in contact with me and if I had any questions or concerns (which I didn't because they always explained everything beautifully) I knew I could call and get one of them. There wasn't an automated message with a list of options and me having to scream "representative" into the phone. We will be moving again January 2014 and I will be calling them to ship my car back to the east coast. At this point I don't think I will ever need to google search for another auto transport company! It's a great company providing excellent service!
