LYING LIARS

i had to wait a MONTH to even write this ... i am STILL furious.

where to begin? i call - with NO experience and immediately get stung for the $150 deposit since they offered the best price (no kidding ... they know no one will ever pick it up at this price). i get the funny looking contract by fax and am thinking 'wow, this looks like a scam operation with the teeny little text and the type-o's and they didn't even date it.' dummies.

then a guy from a reputable hauler calls me back and says if ANYONE asks you for a deposit up front - RUN AWAY! they are liars and no reputable company will charge you up front for services not rendered. right then i gulped, called my credit card company and told them i just got scammed for $150. i called our good friends at CAM back and asked to cancel the order and they said no problem - but i would need to write a letter explaining why ... WTF? is my kid going on a field trip or am i getting a refund here? ya nits.

so then i figure, well, lets see if they will do the job - maybe i overreacted ... and i called back and asked that they og ahead and go for it. lets just keep this short and say that WEEKS went by ... and nothing. the seller was losing his patience and i was losing sleep and hair trying to figure out when these clowns were actually going to do something. i called everyday and was told 'they were working on it' and that they would call back in about 10 minutes. hmmmm, never got a call back once. it was a maddening experience knowing you are being scammed and having to talk to these degenerates who are just leading you on to get you off their back (now that they have their deposit). bunch of window-lickers.

finally i called to announce i wanted a refund since they were out of contract (i was able to read the fine print with a scanning electron microscope). so they said, 'uh, ok ... lets give you a refund and fax you a receipt.'
wow! a real-fake refund receipt!!! this was getting fun (i had already scheduled another service from the fellow who originally told me up front deposits were scam operations). i had also called American Express and reported them as a fraudulent operation and if ANY other AmEx cards were charged to their name to be aware. they are launching an investigation. YAAYYYY!!! how ya like that ya finks?

ok, lets calm down here ... so the refund was promised by Friday, then Monday, then Wednesday and ultimately every day of the week. it really just depended on which mouth-breather du jour that i spoke with. while it never came, AmEx did give me a refund and promise to give a lookie into the naughty people at CAM. ta-dow suckers. i really hope they make you their cell-mate, CAM.

in then end, it was a waste of over a month, could have cost me $150 (but at least i had the sense to realize immediately i was scammed), upset the seller of my vehicle who was housing it (imagine if i had been renting a space or renting parking!), and it cost me a lot of anxiety. after this, i wish CAM only the very worst as i understand that this BS plays out everyday to unsuspecting good people who are maybe stuck in a hotel waiting for their only vehicle or something even worse. you are a bunch of worthless cro-mags CAM. you should have stayed in school - so you wouldn't have to make your pathetic living in this most undignified manner. bunch of bottom-feeding morons.

i'm still furious ... i need a beer.
and its not about the money, but the principle.
shame on you CAM. be warned folks ... do NOT go with sCAM.

p.s. - the fellow who helped me out runs 1 flat rate auto transport. straight shooter and just a decent guy. check him out first and i will back this up (no i dont have any affiliation with him - email me if you like). he cost a little bit more but i finally got my vehicle picked up and delivered safely. all said and done i would have gladly paid a couple of hundred more bucks up front to just do it right the first time - and - a month earlier.

p.p.s. -by the way, when you are going to write A++++ reviews for your own company, don't have one of your temp guys do it. he writes like he is texting (what is he 18?), and he only transports BMWs and Porsches, etc. ... yet our little Einstein has no grasp on grammar or spelling.
