This was my first time using a shipper for a vehicle. I bought a classic car (1965 Corvette) from the owner in North Carolina and needed it shipped to Orange County. With such a nice car, I decided to use an enclosed, as opposed to open, carrier, for greater protection (it does increase the price, however). After doing research online (including Yelp and BBB reviews) I got quotes from 5 shippers. I chose Coastal because it offered a highly competitive rate and had an office in the region. Communication was mostly via email, but I also talked to Henry on the phone and he was friendly and helpful. Coastal accommodated the seller's desire to not pick up the car before a certain date, and they followed his suggestion to pick up the vehicle at a location more easily accessible than his residence. The owner said he saw a Viper and an Italian sports car in the van, so the Vette had good company! They picked up the car on a Monday, and projected a delivery date for the following Monday- however, they were able to deliver it by Friday afternoon, which was a very pleasant surprise. The vehicle looked great and was undamaged. The experience was more of a relief than a joy, but I would definitely use Coastal again if I had to transport a vehicle.
