I was amazed that I received a call only a few hours after I spoke with the transport company that they could pick up my vehicle the same day. I purchased the vehicle from a private owner and did not fully know what I was getting until the car arrived. The contracted driver called me to tell me he could deliver it 4hrs earlier than expected. (Route 66 Auto Transport) This gentleman and his son were so wonderful to work with. Come to find out the guy I bought it from had not started the thing for 3 months and was charging it when the transporter arrived (nice). So it would start and stall and it gave them a hard time when taking it off the truck. When we finally got it off the truck the guy drove it down to my house and into the garage. I couldn't have asked for a better service when it came to this father and son team, thank you!!

Only two negatives to speak of:
The only thing I was a little concerned about is that I had to contact the contracted carrier to find out what the status of the pick up was. No one made that initial contact with me after I asked for a pick up date, the pick up date actually occurred 2 days after that same day phone call I received.

I also spoke with Chariott about the car having a low ground clearance and that it was necessary to ensure that was addressed with the carriers. This was days prior to the order and I was not informed that there was an extra charge for low ground clearance. This charge was brought to my attention only after the order was placed, so that was a little disappointing.


All in all I was pretty satisfied with my experience with Chariott and would utilize them again.
