Horrible Customer Service

We had several quotes for moving our van from Hawaii to Florida. While Caviness was not the cheapest, they had a price guarantee, which we liked. Well, their price guarantee is not guaranteed at all. We ended up spending over $300 extra to ship our car than originally quoted. Caviness never had any idea where our van was during shipment. When we called they always seemed surprised. They almost missed the deadline to move the van out of Long Beach once our van arrived by boat since they had no idea when it was arriving. The truck that transported our van from Long Beach to Ft. Lauderdale broke down and was extremely late getting our van to us. Whenever we dealt with Caviness Mandy was always very rude, and even called me a bi*** when I asked to speak with her superviser. Since we paid the shippers directly there was no way to fight the extra charges. Caviness is a very poor company with very poor skills.

The extra fees you incurred were from Matson, which is where it was delivered from Hawaii. We were contracted to move your vehicle from Matson to FL, which we did. The only charge to you from our company was our fee of $250.00 and part of that we had to pay to Matson to get the vehicle released to the driver. You were very rude and hateful everytime you called this office. Some customers we just cant please no matter how hard we work.
