Honest, Very Nice and Car Arrived Earlier Than Expected

I moved from Hawaii to Michigan for graduate school, and this is the first time I have been away, not to mention being in the Midwest. A month after, my parents decided to send one of our cars. So, I filled out a quote request on one of those sites that send your info to different transport companies. I have never done this before nor heard of someone done this before. So, I read reviews on different companies here on transportreview. I listed the ones with very good reviews and waited for them to contact me. Cavalier Auto Transport was one of the first companies to email me, but the first one to call me. More companies sent me an email after but they were automated. The Cavalier agent's name was Tyra. At first, I was hesitant despite the fact that she was very nice. I thought the process was complicated and that maybe Cavalier AT owns the review site I was looking at. Filling this review right now makes me feel embarrassed with that statement. This site certainly is not theirs. lol.

So I went on with Cavalier AT. They arranged everything so that my parents will only have to drop the car off at Matson in Honolulu. Considering that my car came from HI, I expected the delivery to be longer. Shipping from HI to CA itself takes 10 days. But I was surprised when it only took 19 days altogether. Tyra told me 3-4 weeks, but it was actually earlier than that. She updated me in a timely manner, and was very nice all the time. Another plus to Cavalier AT is that they were able to arrange a contract with a driver that would deliver my car for $100 less. Being a student, that amount means a lot. The amount reported here includes the Matson shipping charge of $1100.

The car was dirty on the outside, of course, when it arrived. I think it's true to all open truck carriers.

Overall, it was great! I think I just got really lucky that they were the first to contact me. I would definitely recommend them to my friends or whoever I know who would want to ship their cars.
