I came across Cascade by doing further research after I had been ripped off by Continental Auto Movers (who took my $150 deposit and never heard from them again). I was attracted to Cascade because of the reviews, the fact that they were located in Washington (where I live), and because they only transact your deposit once the vehicle has been picked up (not when you place the order).

I was in a hurry to get my vehicle shipped, since I was renting another car @ $50/day until this one arrived - and had been waiting a while since I was ripped off by Continental. Kimberly was very helpful and seemed very determined to work hard to get the vehicle picked up - and indicated it would take around 3-10 days to do so.

I have no doubt that Kimberly was working hard to get it picked up, but I ended up waiting around 3 weeks before anyone picked it up. I was then told I would have to pay an additional $200 to the driver for them to do it. So, I was originally quoted $1165 and thought it would arrive in 1-2 weeks, and I ended up paying $1365 and it arrived in about 4 weeks + all of the additional rental expense incurred.

So, my overall experience in getting my vehicle shipped was not satisfactory. Kimberly and Cascade were helpful in the process, but they struggled to find a driver willing to make that run. As they are brokers, I guess they are at the mercy of a truck network that they don't have control over. So, it was pretty frustrating.

However, my review here is based on my experience with Kimberly and Cascade. Despite the fact that there were long delays and it cost me more money than was originally quoted, Kimberly was responsive- and someone else was always willing to help if Kimberly wasn't available. I'm willing to offer them the benefit of the doubt that they indeed worked very hard to get it picked up but simply came across a situation where they couldn't find a driver to get it picked up.
