(Before pickup) Initially Adriana was my contact and she was very responsive by email. However, suddenly I couldn't communicate with her by email. Even a phone call was not very satisfactory. Well... I was about to switch a broker. However, in my last call to Cascade, Brenda told me what was going on, and she would take care of my car. Since then, Brenda was great by email and phone as well. She was very friendly and knowledgable. Especially, she was very honest so that I didn't switch to other brokers. She took care of everything Adriana promised. If Brenda were my contact from the begining, I would have given five stars for her service.
(After delivery) Well... I had very bad luck with a carrier, which is "White Nights Trucking Inc.". The driver name is Vlad. If you have shipped your car before, you know how carefully a carrier inspect your car at the time of pickup. Indeed, I know now. Vlad was super pickky about any skreches on my car. Even some of them are not visible in the digital picture. EVen some of them are hard to tell whether those are paint chips or dirts. Whatever they are, Vlad checked them on the Bill of Lading. I thought this was good because I assumed (<- this was my mistake) he doesn't want to have a trouble later so that he would take care of my car very well.
Well... somehow White Nights Trucking Company insisted on deliverying my car at night ~ 11 PM. Well... my town in PA is in the middle of mountains. There is almost no street light. It was very very dark, indeed!!! Obviously, we couldn't inspect my car in the way as Vlad did at the time of pickup. I called to Cascade (Cody was helping me). Cody told me that they were wiling to deliver my car in the next day morning. But, suddenly they refused and insisted on delivering my car at night ~11pm. Can you small, guys? Yes, there were damages!
In terms of services from Cascade, I have been very happy. So, I am giving 4 stars. However, I wish I could give "zero" star for the White Nights Trucking Inc. They are horrible. Once Vlad got the money in his hands, he was yelling and using inappropreate languages. Imagine in your mind that at night ~11pm, very dark, a big truck driver is yelling at you. Even worse for our case...because I was out of town and my wife had to handle it alone.... How scary was it. Oh... one more thing, White Nights Trucking Company "refused" to talk to woman, my wife, although she is legally the owner of the car. Ladies, if you plan to ship your car, you need a guy with you. I think we are still living in the 70's....Wow...
Anyway...I am still working with insurance companies, Cascade and White Nights Trucking Inc.. Since White Nights Trucking Company is yelling at me as soon as I mention about damages, I think there is no way this case would end simply at this moment.
In terms of this review, Cascade provided me with all the information they have. It is truely good service. However, if you are standing in my position, those information doesn't help you much in real world. You, the shipper, would be alone to deal with this unkind, arrogant, unpleasant, rude White Nights Trucking Inc. if you face a problem. I guess a lot of people may just walked away becuase of their behaviors.
The good thing about you who are looking for a broker now is that Cascade promised me that they won't use White Nights Trucking Inc. until they resolve my issue. So, don't worry when you decide to use Cascade. They are really good people! If they promise something, they will find a way to meet your requests.
