Ron,
I am sorry that you feel you had a bad experience. There were no excuses given, there were delays with Matson which we have no control over. You did not pay more than your quote. We had you pay 50 to the driver extra that was returned from the deposit that you paid, so over all you were not overcharged. The vehicle was coming from Hawaii to Alabama, the vehicle would most likely be dirty. If there was grease on the vehicle you should have reported that to us.
When you noticed a leak you should have immediately informed Cascade so we could have taken appropriate steps to correct the situation, even if te vehicle was covered by your warrenty.
As for the late on delivery, our terms clearly state:
The normal pickup timeframe is 1 to 10 business days. Pickup and delivery dates are contingent upon carrier availability and season. All dates and times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates or times of when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered. Carriers may be subject to delays. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. will not be held responsible for any expense related to a delay (car rental fees, storage fees, accommodation fees, etc.)
Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. is an agent for you. We arrange for the transportation of the vehicle by finding an appropriate carrier. We do not own trucks or physically transport the vehicle. Our services end when the carrier is assigned and contacts you regarding pickup and delivery of the vehicle.
Again I am sorry that you were unhappy, I wish you would have talked to me about this after delivery. I was not aware of any issues. You sounded fine when we spoke after delivery.
Thanks
Kimberly
