Good Customer Service / Not great trucker

The folks at Cascade Vehicle Shipping were professional and very prompt. I was impressed by them and their service, but less so with the truck driver who hauled my car. The driver claimed the transmission on his truck failed and I could either pick the car up 30 miles away (at 8:30 at night) or wait a few days until his truck was fixed. I ended up renting a trailer to go get the car. I was happy to do that to help the truck driver, but I'm now wondering if the whole stroy of the failed transmission was actually true. Bottom like is I would use Cascade again but request a different hauler.
