Julie,
The poor service is the trucking company not Cascade. We arrange for the shipper whom we have used on numberous occasions, and you were the only one with a problem to date. Some times the drivers do not speak that much english but they can still communicate. If this was a problem, you should have called Cascade so we could have helped. We do apologize if the truck did not inform you of the delay, but trucks are subject to delays as it states in our terms and conditions:
Pickup and delivery dates are contingent upon carrier availability and season. All dates and times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates or times of when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered. Carriers may be subject to delays. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. will not be held responsible for any expense related to a delay (car rental fees, storage fees, accommodation fees, etc.)
The address and email address are what you gave us, if there was an error it could have been corrected before pick up.
We are sorry that the truck was prompt and delivered the vehicle early, most customers are happy about that. We never heard from you to let us know this was a problem because we could have been involved and tried to help the situation for a early pick up.
We have also not heard anything about damage to the vehicle, which you are suppose to report to us as it states in our terms and conditions:
If damage to the vehicle should occur, all money owed for the transport must be paid to the carrier to initiate a claim. Damage must be properly noted on the Bill of Lading and signed by both the carrier and shipper (or agent). Without proper notation of damage on the carrier’s Bill of Lading, shipper (or agent) verifies that the vehicle was received in good condition. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. must be notified by phone within 24 hours of delivery of the damage. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. will support shipper (or agent) in filing insurance claims. Claims are to be filed directly with the carrier’s insurance. If the vehicle is valued at a higher than market rate, we suggest you purchase a special insurance rider.
We are sorry that you were unhappy with the truck that we chose. We are the broker, good "phone" service is what we do, the trucking company is responsible for the actual transportation of the vehicle again as it states in our terms and conditions:
Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. is an agent for you. We arrange for the transportation of the vehicle by finding an appropriate carrier. We do not own trucks or physically transport the vehicle. Our services end when the carrier is assigned and contacts you regarding pickup and delivery of the vehicle.
Again we are sorry if you did not like the company that was chosen for your transport, but our goal is to provide transportation of your vehicle. Your vehicle was picked up with one delay from the truck and delivered early. Again we are sorry that the vehicle arrived before you did.
