took money out soldiers account without approval

We were given a quote of $900. In order to find a shipper, we would have to secure it with a credit card. We were advised that the funds would not be withdrawn unless we were contacted and advised that a shipper was found. We advised them that we did not want the vehicle shipped until the 12th and we would not have funds until them. They assured us the funds would not be held or pulled without a call first. The very next day, our funds were on hold for 221.45. I called them and they were very rude and said it was not their problem and to contact our bank. I asked to speak with another manager and she said she was the only one and her name was Vanessa. I called back and the same lady gave me a different name of kim. She said she was the only one i was going to be able to speak with. They said it would take 72 hours to release the funds. When I asked to speak to the owner, they advised me that he was home and not available. My bank called them and they had to call paypal for an authorization code. The bank and I were on hold for 20 minutes waiting on a transaction #. We canceled and due to integrity and poor customer service, we will find another company. Rehina, The funds were not withdrawn, the credit card was authorized. We did not actually collect any funds as your bank confirmed when we had them on the phone with our credit card company to release the authorization. The problem has been resolved. We have 4 people in the office, and no one in this office said the name Vanessa so you must have been mistaken. You spoke with Kim each time and Kim is also the one who resolved this problem with our credit card user. You were not on hold for 20 minutes, but until paypal was ready with your information, yes you were on hold, but it was not 20 minutes. We are sorry you feel that you were misinformed, but we did follow policy as it states in our terms and conditions. Your credit card was not charged because your vehicle was not on the carrier. Good Luck with a different company and we hope your transport goes well.
