After purchasing a sports car in show room condition, I was VERY concerned with choosing an auto transporter. To put it quite bluntly, I was scared. I looked all through the internet and found a web sight that collects reviews from people who have used different carries.
Well, 'Cascade Vehicle Shipping' was at the top of the list, 5 gold stars and NO negative comments - all exceedingly positive. So, I gave them a call. I can't remember who I talked with at first, it was either Brandi, Sara or Gloria, I talked to them all at one time or another and I was immediately put at ease. These ladies were not only sweet and charming BUT extremely professional and knew the business well. They made me feel at rest and totally confident that Cascade would take care of my car from pick up to delivery.
So, I signed up and put my faith in them. They were competitive and only charged me $995 to transport my car from Indiana to California, $215 up front for the driver and the remainder a check sent to their office. Due to the price difference, I reluctantly chose an open carrier rather than an closed container.
On the day of the pick up I got a call from the driver, Ignazio Lopez, who informs me that I have a closed container for the charge of an open. He made me feel as though we'd been best friend for years.
The car was suppose to arrive at the garage on Tuesday, yet he calls me late Saturday and says, "Your car is here". Well, the garage was not open and he couldn't drop it off. Now this is almost unbelievable. Surprisingly I'm informed that Ignazio lives only about 10 miles from the garage so we agreed and he drops it off at his, behind the gates, house. The following Monday a mechanic from the garage came out, checked the car over, signed the necessary papers and drove it to the garage.
Cascade Vehicle Shipping has been in the business for years and it shows. They are so relaxed and friendly because they are so confident in their abilities and their drivers. I will just say this in closing, "Don't waste your valuable time looking all over the internet for a carrier, take my word for it, just call Cascade at (360) 834-7898 and ask for Kim, another darling professional". I'm so glad I did.
