Not what I was expecting but Excellent nonetheless

Shipping vehcile from VA to remote location (Artesia, NM).
Originally looking for enclosed shipping but no takers, so, changed to open carry.
Driver arrived days late to the pick-up point, and I only knew of his late arrival by calling him.
Driver picked up vehcile and contacted my son, the guy to take delivery of vehicle, days early from original delivery date.
When booking the transport of the vehicle, it was made clear in the notes to the driver delivery must be after 6:00 pm during week-days and anytime on weekends. (My son is attending the Border Patrol Academy and can not leave the campus during work hours.)
Driver called my son and TOLD him he was going to drop off the vehicle between 10:00 am - 12:01 pm on a week eday. When my son reminded the driver that he would not be available during that timeframe, the driver told him that was the only time for delivery and if he wasn't available, too bad, he would not deliver and catch him on a return trip!!!
Of course, this unethical and unprofessional unilateral change to the contract was stunning in its arrogance and rudness.
My son immediately contacted me and I, in turn, contacted Kimbery of Cascade Shipping.
Kimberly acted qucikly, professionally and effectively. She contacted the driver to remind him of the terms and conditions of the delivery and any change could not would not be accepted.
Apprently, the driver was trying to make an early delivery to another location and would receive bonus for doing so.
The driver meekly back-tracked and delivered the vehcile within the contracted time.
Excellent save on thepart of Cascade and I reccommend them strongly and with enthusiasm.
