Truck never booked

I had originally contacted Glen at Car Shipper USA LLC at the beginning of August to book a shipment for my car from NH to CA during mid-September. I was told it was too early to book, and that they wouldn't book until the beginning of September. I proceeded to stop looking for other quotes, given the low quote I received from Glen. I called and re-booked on September 3 as I was advised, and was told I would be contacted within a few days. One week later I still had not heard anything, so I called and was told "because I booked late during a bad time to try and ship to CA, they were having a hard time booking and would have to increase the rate that I was quoted". My requested pick- up date had come and gone with no further communication from Car Shipper USA LLC. A week after my requested pick-up date I heard from Car Shipper USA LLC that they could maybe pick-up my car but for an increased rate. I have since had to contact and scramble to find a new company that could ship my car. I've heard this can be a stressful experience, but Car Shipper by no means was of any help in getting my car to CA.

WE MADE FULL EFFORT TO MOVE HER CAR. THE TRAFFIC FROM NH - CA HAD CALLED FOR HIGHER RATES DUE TO THE PROBLEM IN CA WHERE THE TRAFFIC WAS VERY LOW AND THE TRUCKERS HAD TO COMPETE BY TAKING VEHICLES AT A VERY LOW RATE, HOWEVER, THEY HAD TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE FOR CARS LEAVING THE EAST COAST. THIS SHIPMENT WAS OVER 3000 MILES. WHEN WE REALIZED THE PROBLEM WE CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER BECAUSE ONE OF THE TRUCKS REQUIRED MORE MONEY. WE ARE DOING THIS 10 YEARS AND ARE VERY UPFRONT WITH OUR CUSTOMERS. WE DEFINITELY TRY TO SATISFY ALL, HOWEVER, ONCE IN A WHILE SOMETHING DOESN'T WORK OUT AS QUOTED. OUR APOLOGIES.
