As an Active Duty service member on leave before moving to California I was contacted by Capitol and received a quote for $750.0 from a sales member named Chris. Best quote out of 15 phone calls, and scheduled a pick up for the 5th of Jan 2012. This was confirmed 2 weeks before the pick up date. The pick up date came and went without a phone call from the company. I contacted them several times many of which I was on hold from anywhere to 15- 25 minutes. Then I was told that they would have to increase the price in order to get shipped out at a decent date. I had to cancel services with the company, and pay twice as much for the same transportation services from a different company.
Key points*
* Charged a deposit 2x. once for $129.95, $154.95. Only 1 of which was refunded after cancellation the other had to be disputed with my bank.
*Recieved no contact after cancellation via phone call or email in regards to my refund, if I was not persistent with my bank, this charge would have gone unnoticed and the company would have kept the money.
*Low price is too good to be true, I was on the bottom of the list for the entire time because the driver's purse was too low, average shipping price is $900.00-$1000.0
*Long wait time, screened calls, service members never available for assistance.
*LYING STAFF, worst of all I was given the "I'm a veteran too, I will take care of you brother" speech from Chris Ray, who literally said whatever it took to get the sale, promising me he would handle my deal personally, after the purchase he never responded to my emails or phone calls, i had to pretend I was somebody else to get him on the phone, once I did, he acted it like he didnt remember tried to pawn me off to dispatch and never contacted me back again.
*This is no way to treat any person, especially a service member depending on services promised by a company and a so called "fellow vet" before deploying to Afghanistan. I lost percious family time, money and respect for this company. Way to spend my last few days in America. Thank you Capitol.
