I highly recommend Capital Auto Transport. After having a horrible experience with DAS a few years ago and reading all the on-line reviews of other companies, I was very worried about shipping this time especially as I had to have my daughters car available for pick up on a very specific day in Philadelphia as I was dropping her off there for college and was only in town for 2 days.

After reading lots of reviews, I called Cat at Capital Auto Transport (she named her company after her name) and had a terrific experience. She was extremely responsive, understood my needs, came up with a great solution to ensure that my car was there on a specific day, and got me a very fair price. As there is a lot of variability in when the truck arrives on a cross country drive, Cat found a carrier (Starway Logistics LLC) that was based in Phili so we could ship the car early and they would hold it at their lot to ensure it was there on my specified day. Everything went perfectly. The pick up was exactly as promised, the driver and truck were very nice, and the car was there in perfect condition when I arrived, and the cost was exactly what she quoted. I called her on Tues, the car was picked up on Thur in California, was in Phili by the next Wed, 5 days ahead of when I needed it, and was held until I got there.

There are a wide variety of trucking companies that these brokers use, and Cat has good knowledge of who is good and who is not, and ensures that she is using good companies that perform. In this case, her knowledge of who was based in Philadelphia and could store the car was key to making this work.

Cat - Thanks. You made this seamless and much easier than I expected. I am happy to sing your praises to anyone who needs to ship a car.
