I begin this review by acknowledging that this vehicle was without brakes and not the easiest to move. The broker, in my opinion, did an average job. I never received the Certificate of Insurance I requested from Browns Auto Transport, and they were frustratingly slow in returning calls. To clarify, the frustration came from the actual carrier, JCS Auto Transport from Harrisburg, PA, and not the broker.

JCS communicated to me on three separate occasions that delivery would be made on such and such a day during a certain window of time. The days and times came and went without ANY communication from them. My calls to the carrier went unreturned. I didn't expect a play-by-play of their whereabouts, but the lack of communcation was completely unacceptable. I do understand that mechanical failiures, among other things, can change plans, but again I maintain that the total lack of communication was unacceptable. My family and I altered/cancelled plans over the course of two weekends awaiting the grand delivery, only to be dissappointed. JCS Auto Transport is NOT the comapny to use!

This was truly a mess up on the drivers end. He would consistently tell me what I wanted to hear and then do the complete opposite. I did my best to stay in contact with the customer and was even willing to repost it and look for another driver. We do go out of our way to check the ratings and feedback on all the drivers we use, but sometimes that doesn't do any good as well. If they are running behind, instead of telling us up front, they will come up with some story that makes us both look totally unprofessional. This is an area we have improved on. If the driver is not there the day he is supposed to pick it up, I immediately start looking for another driver instead of waiting and hoping he shows up. But, reality is, your are always going to have some company that doesn't want to be cooperative.
