This Quote was given on 10/22 not on 10/05 as he indicated, and at this point I was just looking for a driver. He did then place his order on 10/22 and I spoke with the customer and informed him that it was slow and that it may take several days to find a driver. Unlike a lot of other companies, I tell it straight from the beginning instead of lying to the customer everyday about trucks breaking down and delays due to other vehicles not being picked up on time. I informed him that it may take 2 to 3 days to arrange for a driver to pick it up. He did not complain about any of this nor did he lead me to believe that this was an inconvenience for him. On or around 10/26 he contacted me regarding another company picking up his vehicle. I advised him that if he had another transport company to pick it up on the indicated day, that this would be his best option. At this point he made the choice not to change companies and still lead me to believe that the wait was not an issue nor did he did not give me any impression that he was in any way angry or upset.
As far as the "no return call" this is false, I did call him several times to see if I could get it moved to a bigger city where I would have a better chance of getting it picked up on the date that he needed it picked up.
As stated before, he lead me to believe there was not a problem at all and that he would contact me with any questions .I was under no impression whatsoever that he was unhappy.
