I received 15 quotes for the move of my auto from Charlotte to Chicago. I received a call from Jay at Blue Star to follow-up my quote request. Jay explained the high cost of their quote $700. saying that they are the best in the business. He said that we have 100% satisfaction guarantee. They asked for a $200.00 deposit. I faxed over my credit card number on a Monday morning and was told that dispatch would call me to arrange pick-up. Apx 2 hours later I had a unexpected change in my plans. I called Jay and indicated that I had not heard from dispatch yet and needed to cancel my order. He transferred me to dispatch and they indicated that my $200. deposit was not refundable. I would not do business with these crooks again if they were the last company in the business! So much for 100% satisfaction guarantee!

REVIEW IS NOT WARRANTED PLEASE READ OUR RESPONSE - Mr. Williams contracted with us on Friday May 16th at 6PM to have his vehicle picked up between May 21st-23rd. On Sunday May 18th, at approximately 10AM we booked a transport for him with a carrier to load on May 21st and deliver by May 26th. The carrier was verified and he was faxed a load sheet which he signed and returned back to us. At approximately 2:30PM Mr. Williams called in and advised us that the he did not close on his home do to some banking issues he was having and he no longer needed to ship the vehicle. We explained to Mr. Williams that his order had already been booked with a carrier and canceling two days prior to the pick up will forfeit his security deposit as a portion is due to the carrier for the dry run. We explained the reason behind our policy and offered to apply the deposit towards a future move. Mr. Williams became irate and was very abusive on the phone. He threatened to diminish our reputation if we did not refund his deposit. Upon placing the order, Mr. Williams was faxed an agreement which he signed, dated, and faxed back. In our agreement it states that if you cancel 7 days prior to your pick up date, your entitled to a FULL REFUND. However, if you cancel 2 days prior and a carrier has already been booked, than unfortunately, the deposit is non refundable. We feel that this is fair and honest policy to protect both our clients and carriers. We understand that this was beyond his control, as it was his "banks fault," and we are sorry to hear about his troubles but we don't feel that we should be responsible for them. Still we offered him a credit for the deposit towards any future move!
