I made all the arrangements (including the purchase of a new car with an LA dealer) remotely over the phone. However, even though this may have presented challenges, the service was excellent and there were no coordination problems at all.
Brian @ Autozipper was a pleasure to deal with and could not have been more helpful. Both he and the driver (after the pickup) provided me with regular updates and my new car arrived in pristine condition.
A great experience and I would have no hesitation recommending Autozipper to anyone transporting a car.
Incidentally, the reason that I chose an enclosed delivery was because this was a brand new car - Brian said that it would be fine open (which would have been cheaper) but I figured that based on the cost of the car I'd go for the enclosed option.
