When I first sought to have my car moved from Pennsylvania to Illinois, I completed an online form that contacted ten or more auto transport companies for quotes on my move. While a few of the companies offered comparable costs, only one matched the three-day pick-up window at that cost. I was originally not sure that I would not be able to have my car moved from Pennsylvania to Illinois because I needed a few days to make the trip myself with a U-Haul and could not guarantee that it would not beat me there if picked up on the first day of the three-day pick-up window. Mary told me that I had the options of arranging for someone in Illinois to pick up the car before I arrived or leaving the car with someone in Pennsylvania so that I could get a head start on the drive. As I did not yet know anyone in Illinois, I left the car with family in Pennsylvania and emphasized that the car could not arrive in Illinois before my move-in date, which Mary documented to assure that the car would not arrive before I could pick it up. The car was picked up on the final day of the window, but this was a plus rather than a drawback given that I needed to get to Illinois before the car. The car arrived the day after I arrived in Illinois, which was ideal given the circumstances. My only complaint is that the car was picked up in Pennsylvania around 10 or 10:30 at night, which was probably rather inconvenient for the people with whom I left it, but this in no way flies in the face of any part of my agreement AutoStar Transport. I was very anxious about entrusting my vehicle in a company I'd found on the internet, but I read almost entirely positive reviews, to which I am pleased to add my own. The car arrived very much on time and without any damage. Mary Rhiannon English was consistently pleasant, informative, and readily available for my questions and changes in information (I had to change my pick-up point when we made the decision to leave the car with family that lived about an hour away). If I need to move the car for my next job, I will have no reservations about using AutoStar Transport again; my car arrived safely, their price quote and pick-up and delivery windows were very competitive, and their customer service was very accessible.
