1400+ mile transport of 4300lb Station Wagon

After checking with U-Ship (which I had used successfully twice previously, but both independent carriers were unavailable) I decided to see what success I could have working with a broker. I filled out quote forms on several different sites on a Friday.

the following Saturday morning I was contacted by Alex Rera who spent as much time as I needed to be comfortable with Autostar and working with a broker. I challenged him with some tough questions and he answered them honestly, and his salesmanship is a major reason for my selection of Autostar.

The quote I received was the second best price from several, but Autostar was first to respond by more than 24 hours, and the only call I received on the weekend. Two others called but not until the following Monday.

Alex was quick to respond if I didn't reach him when I called, and when Alex wasn't there and I needed to speak with someone, I got a call back from someone rather than be left to sit in his voicemail. Autostar did not charge my deposit until a carrier was booked, and the carrier did not collect payment until the vehicle was delivered.

The only negative I had working with Autostar was the web form for the quote. It didn't show my exact vehicle and I had to best guess the next closest application.

I would definitely use Autostar again as they are a service oriented company and do their job well and at a very competitive rate. Aside from using Autostar to help transport my car, I have no affiliation with them or any other transport company, and I am not being paid for my review. I support businesses that do well by saying nice things about them and rewarding them with my business in the future.
