I did several quotes to have my vehicle transported from Florida to Alabama. The other transport companies quotes were not reasonable and I do admit was a little skeptical because AutoStar Transport offered me such a low price of $525. We all know that sometimes when we pay low prices the product may not be of great quality but I was wrong. They matched the prices of other companies. Most importantly, AutoStar was the only transport company readily accessible in Florida versus other companies requiring at least a week notice prior to transport. They prevented me from incurring additional port charges. George Prestera, the Transport Coordinator was my point of contact and he displayed a professional attitude and he kept me informed everyday on my vehicle transport situation leading up to the day of transport. As soon as, the port released my vehicle, AutoStar Transport had my vehicle loaded on an open carrier, despite the fact my vehicle would not start. I was so happy and relieved because they got my vehicle out of Florida before the Category 4 storm hit. There is a reason that AutoStar Transport is ranked #12 out of 500 companies. And yes they have vehicle GPS tracking, something that the most companies do not have. They didn't give me the opportunity to call them first for status, instead they called me first to inform me about the status on my vehicle. My vehicle was delivered at my parents doorstep and my vehicle didn't have a scratch on it. I will definitely use this company again in the future. Thank you AutoStar!
